NOTICE TO BIDDERS
 
HUNTING LEASE
 
Sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Department of the City of Camden, Arkansas, for the Camden Airport Commission, for full leased hunting rights on approximately 380 acres of airport property located adjacent to Harrell Field in Camden, Arkansas.  Said lease shall run from August 1, 2017 through July 31, 2018.  Such bids will be received until 10:00 a.m., April 17, 2017, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Camden Airport Commission meeting held on April 20, 2017 at 11:30 am.  The envelope containing the bid should be sealed and marked:  “BID NUMBER 7-17” and mailed or delivered to:

Bidders are required to use and submit the City’s Bidder’s Proposal Form and to comply with all instructions provided on the bid forms, as well as this “Notice to Bidders.”
 
The minimum bid shall be $5.00 per acre.
 
A map plat of the area shall be provided upon request.
 
No deer stands shall be allowed to be nailed to trees.  Deer stands shall be portable or free standing. 
 
The successful bidder shall agree to secure and maintain general liability insurance in the amount of $300,000 (bodily injury & property damage combined each occurrence).  The insurance company selected by the bidder shall be agreeable to the Camden Airport Commission.
 
The Camden Airport Commission will review and evaluate all bids, and any deviations, expectations, comments or suggestions noted on same.  The Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities or discrepancies in bidding, and to select the bid which is judged to be in the best interest of the Commission.
